What is the relationship between Cheesesteaks by Matū and HiHo Cheeseburgers?
We are two separate businesses under one roof. HiHo makes the burgers; Matū makes the cheesesteaks. Same 100% Grass-Fed Wagyu from First Light Farms and the rest is different.
Can I expect to find other Matū menu items at Cheesesteaks by Matū?
No, Cheesesteaks by Matū is focused on one thing — and that’s our cheesesteaks. Of course, we also have our house-made potato chips, but that’s the extent of the food menu.
Are Cheesesteaks by Matū not available through HiHo?
No, Cheesesteaks by Matū are only available at Matū, Matū Kai and Cheesesteaks by Matū locations. In Pasadena and Calabasas we share a space with HiHo, but we are separate businesses.
Is it the same cheesesteak as the ones at Matū and Matū Kai?
Yes.
Is there a full bar?
No, beer and wine only.
